The New York City Department of Education offers free breakfast, lunch and afterschool meals to all NYC public school students during the school year.
You do not need to apply for your child to receive meals. However, we do ask families to complete Family Income Inquiry Form, which helps schools receive money for their programs.
IDNYC - New York City residents are now able to sign up for IDNYC – a government-issued identification card that is available to all City residents age 14 and older. Immigration status does not matter. All New York City residents age 14 and older can get an IDNYC card. Applicants must complete an application and submit it at an IDNYC ENROLLMENT CENTER
An NYC Parks Recreation Center membership gives you access to New York City’s most affordable and extensive network of recreational facilities across the five boroughs. Anyone can be a member – there are no residency requirements and kids under 18 can get a free membership. Come to any of the Recreation Center locations with one form of photo identification. If you do not have a valid form of identification, find out how to get one at Get Your IDNYC. Children under 18 can bring a student ID or birth certificate.
